ANTENNA Installation (Domestic installations)
What we’ll do.
If you are getting a new antenna installed by AV Made Easy, here is what we will do.
What you need to do before we arrive.
To ensure that the job runs smoothly and avoid any unnecessary disruption to your day, it would be best for you to prepare the following before we arrive on site.

When we have finished the work, you can expect.
If you are getting a new antenna installed by AV Made Easy, here is what we will do.
- Supply and install your new antenna (brand and type will vary based on house type, area, preference, other requirements).
- Supply and install a roof mount (that will be used to mount the antenna).
- Supply and run quality RG6 quad shielded coaxial cable from antenna to wall plate.
- Supply and install digital capable wall plate.
- Connect existing TV to wall plate and re-tune TV.
- Digital reception assessment to ensure Australian Standards are met, and optimal picture quality achieved.
- If any additional devices are required (e.g. amplifier) we will always be upfront and discuss your options prior to the installation.
What you need to do before we arrive.
To ensure that the job runs smoothly and avoid any unnecessary disruption to your day, it would be best for you to prepare the following before we arrive on site.
- Ensure you have a working TV ready to be connected at the location of the TV point.
- Clear the area around the TV point to ensure that we will have access to it.
- Prepare for us to enter you home (warn the pets that we are coming…J) and ensure that someone over the age of 18 is at home.
What you can expect when we are on site.
- Allow at least 2 hours for us to be at your home. A new antenna installation can take anywhere from 1-3 hours, multiple story homes, unusual shape/fixtures/ceiling space can all throw up different challenges that will affect the install
- We will need to get on your roof via our ladders, as well as inside your ceiling cavity via a man-hole (or through the roof if necessary).
- We will also need to enter your home to install the wall plate and setup the TV cable.
When we have finished the work, you can expect.
- Neat and tidy work areas (we will always clean up our mess and remove our rubbish).
- Perfect TV picture (of course relative to your TV and signal strength / quality).
- Multiple payment options (inc. Visa or MasterCard, cash, cheque or direct transfer)
- Tax Invoice including work details, amount due and our details for your records.
- 10 Year Antenna Warranty (Antenna part only)
